LAT 250 SUBWOOFER DRIVER cutaway shows a voice coil and motor at each end. Currently the only company employing them is Alpine for use in pick-up trucks, vans and SUVs. There were about 50 people in a Hilton hotel room at a private party given by Tymphany, so it was much too noisy to give then a proper listen. The driver enclosure is determined by the end manafacturer. Eventually the drivers might be available to the public. They clain a 90% rreduction in vibration even at full output and constant low distortion. Let's hope some audiophile companies work with them.
